NetSuite Expands Partnership with Tableau Software to Bring Instant Visual Analytics to the NetSuite Cloud

NetSuite (NYSE: N), a provider of cloud-based financials/ERP, CRM and omnichannel commerce software suites, has expanded its partnership with Tableau Software – delivering a new data export feature to link Tableau’s instant visual analytics to the NetSuite cloud.

The new feature would allow businesses to apply Tableau Software’s analytics to NetSuite Cloud data at the press of a button, generating real-time insights and enabling more informed data-driven business decisions. In addition, businesses can utilize Tableau’s advanced data discovery and visual analytic tools to blend NetSuite Cloud with non-NetSuite data sources in order to identify business trends, benchmark to industries and find latent low cost, high margin opportunities.

Key features of the partnership and benefits to businesses would include:

  • Seamless business analysis – Through the joint solution, users would be able to easily leverage ERP, CRM and ecommerce data to identify trends, key performance indicators (KPI), and gain insights into overall business performance.
  • Visual analytics – “Easy to use” data visualization can filter data dynamically, split trends across different categories or run an in-depth cohort analysis.
  • Deep statistics – Export critical business data to run trend analyses, regressions, correlations and more.
  • Interactive Mapping – Interactive worldwide maps that provide global insights into business performance.

Available now at no additional cost, the new export feature enables joint customers to export data from NetSuite into a native Tableau file format which can be instantly consumed by both Tableau Desktop and Tableau Online – a hosted SaaS version of Tableau Server that would make cloud analytics possible in just minutes.

netsuite-solutions“This integration opens new doors for joint customers to understand and act on NetSuite data in real-time using best-in-class analytics,” said Dan Jewett, VP of Product Management at Tableau Software. “Robust analytics is a hallmark of leading-edge companies, and this makes it faster and simpler for NetSuite customers to take full advantage of Tableau to drive the business.”
