Vbrick, a cloud-native end-to-end enterprise video solutions provider, has announced the launch of Vbrick Distribution. Vbrick Distribution is a secured and scalable enterprise content distribution network solution (eCDN) that is now available as a standalone product outside of Vbrick’s enterprise video platform (EVP).

“Video is bandwidth-intensive, and most corporate networks are not adequately sized to handle the impact of hundreds or thousands of employees using video simultaneously,” said Paul Sparta, Chairman, and CEO at Vbrick.

Enterprise video usage has soared in the aftermath of the COVID-19 epidemic, with more online events including live and on-demand one-to-many video streaming than ever before, stated Vbrick. It can however be difficult to enable video at scale without jeopardizing the corporate network.

Vbrick Distribution would feature numerous distribution modalities to overcome the bandwidth and latency difficulties associated with streaming video on a private network, independent of the network’s design, with limitless deployment and customizable user-based or consumption-based pricing. Vbrick Distribution is available globally.

“Video is bandwidth-intensive, and most corporate networks are not adequately sized to handle the impact of hundreds or thousands of employees using video simultaneously,” said Paul Sparta, Chairman, and CEO at Vbrick. “Without an eCDN solution in place, networks become overwhelmed and end-user experience suffers. Vbrick Distribution provides a complete solution that allows organizations of any size to use video to its fullest extent without worry.”

eCDN Technologies

Vbrick Distribution, which was previously only available as part of Vbrick’s EVP, uses a portfolio of eCDN technologies to solve enterprise video challenges, including cooperative edge caching, peer-to-peer, multicast, and global content delivery networks, to provide a reliable, high-quality experience to an unlimited number of users on any device and in any location around the world.

“No two corporate networks are the same, and as workers return to office locations spanning several continents, flexibility is key to meeting fluctuating enterprise demands,” added Mr. Sparta. “Vbrick Distribution gives organizations the ability to scale up and down quickly and combine distribution modalities without limitation or ‘per-server’ licensing to create the eCDN solution that best addresses network challenges in every scenario while paying only for what’s needed – either based on the number of users licensed or by viewing hours.”

Vbrick Distribution enables organizations to extend video transmission to hundreds of thousands of users by supporting different video sources such as RTMP, conferencing platforms such as Webex, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and SIP-based video conferencing systems.

Vbrick Distribution offers real-time streaming performance and network monitoring while the highest standards in cloud security to guarantee video material would be safeguarded, thanks to built-in analytics and management tools.
