Global Integration of MOME on Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace

Ingram Micro

Through the Microsoft Online Management Extension (MOME), the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace (powered by CloudBlue technology) is now providing channel partners with seamless navigation between operations and commerce. This new capability offers an automated management solution with CloudBlue Commerce that enables Microsoft partners to sell and manage services from a single place.

“The MOME integration is a continuation of a long-term Ingram Micro Cloud strategy to help our partners grow faster and be more profitable. Working closely with Microsoft, and actively listening to our channel partners, this Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace enhancement delivers the most efficient cross-platform process and ‘single pane of glass’ workflow,” said John Dusett, Executive Director of Cloud Services, US. “We’re excited to share more direct management paths for our Microsoft channel partners as we continue adding capabilities and services our partners can leverage to grow faster.”

Managed service providers (MSPs) can gain from MOME’s use of data from Microsoft Customer AAD Tenants by way of its brand-new customer management, domain management, and security score services, among other things:

  • Customer Management – Resellers now have direct access to client accounts thanks to MOME, which now integrates Microsoft Partner Center features into the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace.
  • Domain Management – MOME provides automated domain administration and registration tools intended to do away with the time-consuming, prone to mistake procedure of manually connecting and registering client domains.
  • Secure Score – By confirming the client’s adherence to the Microsoft Security Best Practices, MOME provides the capability to evaluate the Secure Scores that Microsoft has allocated to the customer accounts. Using MOME to raise Microsoft Secure Scores can help stop hostile organizations from abusing services.

Lengthy History of Collaboration

“Automated management solution takes on an entirely new meaning with the introduction of the Microsoft Online Management Extension (MOME) integration within the Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace,” said David Smith, Vice President Worldwide Channel Sales at Microsoft. “Our organizations have a long history of working together, learning from one another and prioritizing the needs of customers with improvements and teamwork along the way. We are thrilled to see the increased capabilities for our Microsoft partners at Ingram Micro Cloud and look forward to seeing the positive impact that follows.”

Customers have complete control over data usage thanks to MOME’s stand-alone customer consent system, which lets users decide which information to share with Partners. Users may also utilize Microsoft’s Delegated Administrative Privileges to manage, limit, or cancel partner access.
